Day 1:

The drive up to the trail was painful, I felt very cramped and couldn't go to sleep. Plus Mr. Jones kept complaining about hiking and he didn't even want to go. When we got to the trail, they mapped out the next 6 days, where we'd go, what we'd eat, where we'd sleep, etc. The mosquitos were all over us while we walked, but we finally made it to our camp site, and now the boys are making a fire and s'mores. I'm too tired, so I decided to go into my tent and rest. Tomorrow we continue the walk, I'm excited for the views from below once we get up high.

Day 2:

I'm sharing a tent with Mike to keep warm and whatnot. Last night he let in a mosquito that had an unbelievable thirst for my blood in the middle of the night. We kept hiking today and it was a little tiring, although it should be the hardest walk all week. My bag has been pretty heavy and I'm loosing balance every now and then. Tonight we had these dinners in a bag, made by mixing the food with hot water, it was pretty good, and we even had Crème Brûlée in a bag for dessert. Plus I drank three liters of water, and peed about eight times today.

Day 3:

Last night I slept well although I had a dream that I was stuck in a tree, and the whole group of hikers were just walking around the tree, calling for me but they couldn't see or hear me, I cried a lot in that dream. Everybody is a little more tired, I'm thinking we'll ease into the daily grind. Today's walk was a little easier, but we've fallen behind our daily quota. Our guide said we would be able to catch up tomorrow though.

Day 4:

Today is such a nice day. Birds chirping, mourning dew everywhere but in a nice way. Today we'll have to do some bushwhacking to get as far as we need to be to make it back in time. Luckily, our guide says she knows the way and there's no reason to worry. But I do think the forecast called for rain today, I'm not sure though, because there is no wifi out here and that's the forecast I got before we entered the woods.

Day 5:

We've been walking non stop, we had to set up a makeshift campsite last night, but we're still not on course, I don't know what's going on, they're being quiet, maybe to protect us? We're supposed to be almost out of the woods by tomorrow.

Day 10:

We have only walked, food runs out tonight, we don't know where we are.

Day 11:

I climbed up a tree, in my dream they couldn't see me, and that's why I cried, but now they know exactly where I am, and that's what scares me.

Day 12:

My phone is going to die.
